BEHIND THE RESULT

The documented story

A UN News interview, reproduced by Global Issues in February 2026, introduced Raul John Aju as a 16-year-old from Kochi. It traced his interest from video editing to artificial intelligence and described MeBot, a robot he built as a school project at 12.

Building comes with questions

The interview also discussed his AI venture and participation in a UN-organised panel about AI and children’s safety during the India AI Summit in New Delhi. An interview records what was reported and said; it is not an independent audit of a tool’s reliability. We do not infer product effectiveness, government endorsement or verified user reach from it.

A spark to explore

An AI project needs more than an impressive demonstration. What information does it use? When could it be wrong? Who checks its answer? These are useful questions for a beginner as well as an experienced builder. They are our reading prompts, not quotations or promises from Raul.
